The NUU Department of Information Management (NUU-IM) established in 1992 provides a Bachelor Program and a Master Program in Information Management. There are currently 13 full-time teachers engaged in teaching, research, and academic services. The educational objective of NUU-IM is to deliver a series of professional courses according to the following principles: “All-people Education”, “Professional Training”, and “Innovation Practice”. In terms of academic and industrial research, all the faculty in NUU-IM do their efforts on three main directions: 1)e-Marketing and service innovation, 2) Business decision-making and Applications, and 3) Technology and Applications of Digital Content. Moreover, the NUU-IM is actively promoting academic and social services for student and local community. The significant achievements so far include to assist the students to win international licenses related to Information Technology and Management, to form an IM-specific volunteer team to serve community-care activities.
